Despite being located just south of Catholic University, Washingtonians love this Northeast brewery for their cool but casual vibe with drinks that are laid back yet ambitious. Chocolate City Beer prides itself on providing customers with brews crafted from ingredients grown right on-site. (The hops added to their suds can be found growing right on the side of the building!) Although the perfect time to check out this brewery on Saturdays from 12:30 to 4:30pm for their weekly growler sales, their Cornerstone Copper Ale is worth the hike anytime.
