Menu MBK--that's market, bistrobar, and kitchen--opened in January and already looks to rival the success of owner and executive chef Frederick de Pue's last restaurant, TABLE. The multi-level Penn Quarter locale boasts a gourmet market on the first floor, the "kitchen," an intimate six seat counter, and then the bistrobar (pictured above) takes up the third and fourth level. The three parts of this operation have had a staggering opening in 2014 but now are all open for business. Side note: their pastry chef hails from Astro Doughnut & Fried Chicken so you know those goods are worth the calories.
