Restaurant Spolight: Barcelona Wine Bar!
What to eat: Some of our favorite tapas include the Spiced Beef Empanadas, the Albondigas (meatballs in a zesty tomato sauce), the Grilled Lamb Chops, Crispy Calamari, Steak Tartare, and you can never go wrong with the Patatas Bravas for the table. It's just necessary.
If you want to go more traditional, and eat a little more food, Barcelona's authentic Paella dishes are a must. And for the meat lovers, try the Parillada dish which comes equipped with every kind of meat you can imagine - we're talking a NY Strip, a pork chop, sausage - and it comes with a delicious side hand cut fries. Yes, please.
What to drink: While the restaurant boast a full bar and an extensive wine list, we tend to always lean towards the homemade sangria. Red or white, you really can't go wrong with either, but make sure to go big or go home and get the pitcher for the table. It's just more efficient that way...
Fun fact: Barcelona is known for it's happy hour and late night dinner scene, but the restaurant also has an ahh-mazing brunch on Saturday and Sundays! Enjoy Bloody Mary's or get a little creative an build your own cocktail and pair it with Barcelona's Eggs Benedict, Brioche French Toast, or Char Grilled Lamb Burger. Talk about YUM! Another fun fact: Barcelona recently opened it's second location near Cathedral Commons.
