Barcode, the sleek modern American restaurant near L and 17th NW, was transformed into a high-energy club on New Years Eve that kicked off with a 4-course dinner and ultimately spilled over into the heated patio out front.
Guests danced in the lounge all night to music by DJ Kam as they said goodbye to 2011, and hello to 2012!

DC bars were allowed to stay open until 4 am on New Years, which gave Barcode revelers an extra hour to welcome 2012 in style.
Some partiers came early to enjoy Barcode's delicious 4-course dinner. The main course was a choice of surf and turf with shrimp, salmon fillet and potatos, a rack of lamb drizzled in marsala wine sauce, or a blackened cornish hen over lemon grass.
