Last night marked the first annual “Blue Crush” Summer Celebration to Crush Colon Cancer. The charity event was held at STROGA, a strength and yoga studio in Adams Morgan, and was hosted by Chris4Life Colon Cancer Foundation, in partnership with The Pink Line Project and Pamela's Punch.
The performance-filled evening featured live music by Grammy nominee hip-hop artist Christylez Bacon, contemporary classical group Low End String Quartet, Indie-rock band The Four Horseman, and Evan Bliss. The City Dance Ensemble also graced the floor and performed for the event's attendees. Limited-edition artwork from DC’s top artists were up for auction and colon cancer survivors, patients, and their families shared meaningful stories with the guests in attendance.
