We can always count on a good time with Sisarina, and last night’s TweetUp at Policy DC seems to have been no exception. Melanie Spring’s work hard play hard happy hours, networking events, group outings and fashion shows always bring together energetic and successful groups of social media mavens.

Policy DC’s motto states “Truth.Love.Liberty” and its menu states “$5 happy hour cocktails and appetizers,” making it the perfect venue for a night of networking and wine-ing.

Name tags at Sisarina’s events allow guests to socialize and mingle without exchanging business cards. Spring enhances her events’ fun atmospheres by encouraging people to ask each other who they are, not what they do.

Guests sipped custom made cocktails (Blood & Sand: scotch, sweet vermouth, cherry, fresh orange? Mmm) and snacked on apps such as hummus, olives, sliders and dumplings, probably tweeting all the while regarding their new friends, happy taste bites, and glorious buzz.
