Washington Nationals' third baseman, Ryan Zimmerman, hosted 'A Night At The Park' last night at Nationals Park to benefit the ziMS Foundation. The foundation, started by Zimmerman, raises money to support finding a cure for those with Multiple Sclerosis.Ryan Zimmerman founded the ziMS Foundation in 2006 to "bring home a cure" for those with Multiple Sclerosis, like his mother, Cheryl Zimmerman.

Last night's event brought 700 of Washington's young elite to Nationals Park for a memorable evening. A silent auction, live auction, and performances by recording artists Amos Lee and Mutlu entertained guests at this intimate event. A $30,000 check was presented to benefit Multiple Sclerosis and additional money was raised, totaling $200,000, through the silent and live auctions which featured items such as signed sports memorabilia and trips to resorts and various sporting events.

Those who purchased tickets in advance were treated to drink specials at George on Friday evening and Current Sushi and Lounge on Saturday evening to celebrate the launch of the ziMS Foundation in D.C. Future events will include the ziMS 5th Annual Golf and Gala event on October 29th and 30th of this year at Virginia Beach.
