On A Typical Day
GofG: Take me through a typical day in the life of serial entrepreneur, Scott Parker.
SP: My day starts like the average person’s workday starts, around 8 or 9 am. That is always a lot of back-office stuff: scheduling, managing all the brands online social media to websites to Yelp pages and planning for the day. As the day goes on we start preparing for when the restaurants start kicking into the busier shifts, which are always the night shifts of course. Once I’m done with the back-office stuff (around when the average person’s workday is ending) then my real work is just beginning. Even though I’m 8 or 9 hours into my day, that’s when I’m actually hitting the floor of the restaurants and watching how the business actually operates. For the first 7 or 8 hours I’m below the surface, but the next 7 or 8 hours I’m in front of the business watching all of the operations.
