Interview: Scott Parker Has Put The “Life” Back Into Arlington Nightlife

GofG: Are any big events coming up at A-Town or Don Tito that I should put on my social calendar? SP: We’re doing two parties just a couple days away from each other. We’ll be doing our Cinco de Mayo Sunday Funday on May 3^rd, kind of a themed party, and that’s been a huge hit for us the past two years. Then of course on Cinco de Mayo, we’ll probably be doing the biggest party of the year in Arlington at Don Tito. We had this place [Don Tito] yesterday filled to capacity for about 9 hours straight and that’s on a random Thursday night, so for Cinco de Mayo I predict will be packed nonstop for 12 hours or so.” GofG: You’re only 32 years old now and have accomplished so much. Where do you see yourself by 42? SP: That’s kind of what I’m trying to figure out now, what I’m working with my partners on. We don’t know what we’re thinking of—do we want to take one of our concepts and grow it into 9 or 10 locations or do we want to open a different concept. It really is a hard decision. [Photos via]
