GofG: How did Zoom Interiors start?
Madeline: We realized there was a niche in the market. We were all living abroad in London at the time when we began talking about it. Bea's mom is an architect and a designer. She was installing Bea's little sister's dorm room at Boston College and all the other parents were floundering around. No one could get their room finished. She single-handedly got Lulu's room done in a day.
Beatrice: They did it really cheap too. All the other kids saw pictures of her room and came to her asking her how she did it.
Madeline: There wasn’t a market for college students and young professional that are on a budget and don't have the time to deal with an interior designer.
Beatrice: We signed papers in February.
Madeline: We took what we did for fun and made it into a company.
