Other Details: On June 21st, Art Soiree and Sofitel hosted their own Fête de la Musique celebration featuring well known local DC artists who performed from 12pm to 12 am that night. Art Soiree's fete was inspired by the traditional France music festival that began in Paris. Together, with the Alliance Francaise and Hotel Sofitel, Art Soiree was able to create an all-day musical experience, filling the city with an outpouring of rhythm and sound. A diverse crowd of guests celebrating different countries and cultures mingled and maneuver through the Hotel's chic ballroom, lobby, and patio bar where one could find different artists in every room! The creative music fete provided a unique opportunity for all Washingtonians to be a part of a worldwide celebration that began in France and now takes place every year on June 21st in hundreds of countries around the world.
