POV Grand Opening

Who was there: Guest included Nick Karnaze of Stubble & Stahce, Kate Bennett of the Washingtonian, Michaelangelo L’Acqua- W Hotels Worldwide Global Music Director, John Wall of the Washington Wizards, and Jason Jones of The Daily Show With Jon Stewart. Other guests in attendance included, Erin McPike, Svetlana Legetic, Eun Yang, Anychi Wei, Jessica Gibson, Shannon Cusello, Leo Schmid, Quincy Jones, Jacqueline Akoko, Tara Papanicolas, and Sheldon Scott.
Other details: On Friday, September 12, POV, the rooftop bar and lounge at the W Washington DC hotel reopened in grand fashion with a party showcasing the new design, food, and cocktails after the venue's fabulous renovation. Over 400 guests including John Wall of the Washington Wizards and Jason Jones from The Daily Show with Jon Stewert took in the city’s best views at the most coveted rooftop in the District. The Dolls, comprised of Mia Moretti and electronic violinist, Margot, provided the night’s special entertainment while John Thornley of U.S. Royalty took to the turntables later in the evening. Guests enjoyed bites from POV’s new menu and tried the newly launched cocktail selection created by Head bartender, Joe Ambrose and Owen Thomson. POV is open daily to the public at 11am, serving food until 11pm. The posh venue also hosts music-themed nights Thursday-Saturday.
