Other details: On Saturday, September 13th, local spa and luxury beauty retailer Bluemercury celebrated its 15th Anniversary. DC beauty junkies lined up along M Street eagerly anticipating the doors opening at 9AM. Deluxe goodie bags were handed out to the first 100 people in the shop. The first 15 customers received gifts from M-61, the proprietary skincare line of Bluemercury. At 10AM, DC Council Member Jack Evans delivered remarks and praised Marla Malcolm Beck and Barry Beck for their contributions to the community. He also presented an official declaration deeming September 13th going forward "Bluemercury Day" in the District of Columbia.
