Hitler Controversy
Are we really surprised that Hitler is somehow involved here? During his campaign, it was brought to light that Cawthorn posted Instagram photos from Adolf Hitler's vacation residence, dubbed Eagle's Nest, in Germany. In the caption, he referred to him as "the Führer" and claimed that the location had been on his bucket list for a while. "It did not disappoint," he continued. "Strange to hear so many laughs and share such a good time with my brother where only 79 years ago a supreme evil shared laughs and good times with his compatriots."
WTF?
Strangely enough, it was reported that Cawthorn removed the post back in August, but, post-win, it seems to have been restored to his feed. What does that tell ya?
