Go Check Out An Art Museum
Don't let your tax dollars go to waste! Take advantage of what you pay for by visiting one of the Smithsonians. A personal favorite of ours is the Smithsonian Museum of American Art with its extensive collection of American-made work from the colonial period to the present. Or, if you're feeling a little more worldly, stop by the National Gallery of Art and take in the beauty of paintings from Ralphael to Rembrandt. Some of the museums are so pretty, you just might want to stop and take an Instagram.
Either way, you'll be soaking in culture without spending a dime!
