Burt Shavitz, the co-founder of one of the most renowned natural cosmetic companies, Burt's Bees, passed away this past Sunday at his home in Bangor, Maine from respiratory issues. Since almost everyone here at the GofG offices has at least one Burt's Bees product in her purse, we couldn't help but pay a tribute to the real-life Burt.
