One of the most anticipated social events of the year happens on the eve before ARTH HK officially opens to the general public. The vernissage is the art world’s equivalent of a premier. Not only do you get a sneak preview of the exhibition while sipping champagne, but also artists and gallery owners are more accessible and interactive. Roam the grounds of the exhibition hall and meet artists from Shanghai, curators from Berlin, and trendy art lovers from all over the world. Guests found themselves in deep conversation with the renowned Baz Luhrmann, who presented his first installation at the art fair two years ago.
