The Parrish Art Museum's newest exhibition is serious food for thought.
Why wait to hit up the artsiest place out East until its Midsummer Night Dance (which is coming up by the way, so get your tickets!)?
David Hockney, Jasper Johns, Robert Rauschenberg, Ed Ruscha, Andy Warhol and Roy Lichtenstein are just a handful of the thirty seven artists on display in The Art of Food: From the Collections of Jordan D. Schnitzer and his Family Foundation, a brilliant look at the cultural context of our menus over time. More than one hundred drawings, paintings, photographs, sculptures, and ceramics have filled the East End museum for the seasonal highlight, which runs through June 30th.
