Extra! Extra! Brooklyn-based painter Chris Martin debuts new paintings this Thursday at Mitchell-Innes & Nash.
Featuring a new series painted on newspapers, Mr. Martin is renowned for his use of unlikely art materials: “foam insulation, roof cement, glitter, pom-poms, felt, bread, photographs, and newspaper clippings, record albums…vinyl, bath towels, aluminum foil, and burlap” are all among his many diverse mediums. This is his third solo exhibition at Mitchell-Innes & Nash, so swing by the Opening Reception while it's still hot off the press!
