Newsome is attempting to attain the status of King of Arms, a senior heraldic rank whose responsibilities include the arrangement of tournaments. He has arranged a Rap Joust (judged by the artist and other of notables from arts, music, and fashion), with an open call for participants and a competition for a cash prize and inclusion on the artist’s mixtape Swag Vol. 2.
