The Fabric of Life by Ali Hossaini
4. The Fabric of Life by Ali Hossaini
In a 2010 review, the New York Times described Hossaini as a “biochemist turned philosopher turned television producer turned visual poet.” His richly colored, sensual imagery contains surprisingly cerebral currents that draw on science, philosophy and spirituality.
The Fabric of Life questions the structure of experience by probing its fundamental elements. Undulating forms representing thought, perception and feeling dissolve into hallucinatory passages of pure color, taking on abstract, musical qualities.
