Tempelhof: Europe’s Largest Park
Despite being officially shut down in 2008, Tempelhof airport is continuously revitalizing itself. That’s right, this airport LOVES makeovers. It was originally built by the Nazis and was even featured in the scene of the epic Berlin Airlift in 1948-49.

At nearly four square kilometers, it holds the title of largest park in continental Europe, with surrounding hangars hosting fairs and festivals, such as the DMY International Design Festival and Bread & Butter.
