"Best $2k I Ever Spent!" Australia's Stereosonic Brings Summer Memories

by SARAH MANDATO · December 11, 2009

The Stereosonic Tour wrapped up at Eagle Farm Racecourse in Brisbane, Australia, this past weekend. Clear blue skies poured sunlight over the five different stages, weather that to us seems long ago and very, very far away.

Bands including Zombie Nation, Karma, Jim Plunkett and Alter Ego sent beats across the sprawling lawn from the the various venues within a venue, called Outrage, Sneakerpeeps, Rocket and Fever Mobile Disco.

We had our summer, we had a nice turn at festivals, the beach, boozy brunches...so we're fine with seeing our friends down under soak up the rays. We're just looking, and maybe dreaming, of temperatures above 25.

We're also entertained by the chugging Veuve, barely there shirts, grass tackling, neon shirting and climbing on top of one another, below.

Do they have a Jersey Shore in Australia?
