All this thinking about our new friend Kate Middleton hopping the pond had us in Brit mode, so we were thrilled to stumble on London's take on Christmas: no kids allowed!
With a "fresh" reversioning (is that a word?) of Santa's Grotto, their Westfield Shopping Center opened an 18 and over only sleigh for those memorable seasonal photo opps. Instead of children screaming and asking for Red Ryder BB Guns there are girls in lingerie, men in Santa's pants (only!) and naughty party favors.
A spokesperson for the mall explained, "Why should kids have all the fun at Christmas? While children can only expect a present from Santa if they've been good, the grown-up grotto welcomes adults who like to be just ever so slightly naughty." Finally, someone who appreciates us!
This lady has the right idea.
