The Newbury Boston Hotel has big shoes to fill. The property was once the historic Ritz and later the adored Taj. The landmark sits at the corner of Newbury with views of the stunning Boston Garden and after a couple of years of renovation and restoration, it's finally set to make its much-anticipated return. The Newbury promises a reimagined, contemporary design while paying homage to its history. Some good news for all my New Yorkers, the rooftop restaurant will be unlike anything that exists in Boston. Major Food Group’s Mario Carbone is collaborating with the hotel to create an elevated dining experience that brings an Italian grand trattoria to town.
