Danni and Jo Synder
Sisters
Danielle and
Jodie Snyder capitalized on their sibling bond and went into business together after falling in love with a shared childhood hobby of jewelry making in Jacksonville, Florida. Jodie handmade beaded designs that she then sold to local boutiques, while Danni sought to impress her older sister by teaching herself wirework with her father's medical tools. Together, their collaborations seemed to take off overnight. They began selling the handmade jewelry collection to Jacksonville boutiques, Fred Segal and the Neiman Marcus catalog. By the time they were teenagers, their hobby was a profit-making business. After college, the sisters moved to New York launched DANNIJO out of their apartment in 2008.
