Attention fellow vinophiles: Wine butter is your new fave thing to strategically make, devour, and feel guilty about. And all before you can talk yourself out of it, because it's super easy and quick to make (and consume, of course).
All you'll need is a bottle of dry wine (try a Sauvignon Blanc or a Cabernet Sauvignon), a whipped stick of butter, and some parchment paper. Boil down your booze, let it cool, then spoon your butter into it. Stir until the wine and the butter don't separate and place the mixture onto the parchment paper. Roll the butter into logs and place it into the fridge to let cool and solidify. If it's a big day, you can even throw in some fruit or herbs; we won't tell anyone.
Use your new creation whenever you would use wine: while cooking fish, while stirring up a nice pasta, or while eating tons of bread and cheese. So great that we don't have to deliver butter and wine into our mouths in two separate steps anymore. Happy indulging!
