This year will be my first foray into the dreamworld that is Super Saturday 15, and I really have no idea what to expect. In my dreams of the biggest shopping event of the summer, there will be shirtless men delivering me every Marc Jacobs shoe I desire and throwing stacks of Helmut Lang tops into my arms. In reality, I'll probably be sweating my mascara off while I physically fight to get close to any booth. Regardless, there are some seasoned pros, including Kelly Ripa, Rachel Zoe, and Kerry Pieri, who have have some tips to keep you calm, cool and collected while you get your shop on.

Super Saturday was once a tag sale in Liz Tiberias' backyard, but has now relocated to Water Mill, and last year raised over $3.5 million for the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund. The shopping sale, which features over 200 vendors including J Brand, Free People, Helmut Lang, Alice + Olivia, Cut 25, Zimmerman, Intermix, C Wonder, DvF, Theory and Urban Zen, also features spa treatments and a beauty bar courtesy of LVMH. Did I mention Super Saturday is like the stomping ground for A-List celebs? Last year Emma Roberts, Abigail Breslin, Edie Falco and Karlie Kloss joined hosts Kelly Ripa and Donna Karan to hunt for bargains.
But we really know that you are interested in scoring some deals, so check out these insider tips and mentally prepare yourself for an intense day of bargain shopping.
[No that's not Coachella, it's Super Saturday]
Our first tip comes from the web editor over at Harpers Bazaar, Kerry Pieri weighs the pros and cons of being on time, because “if you get there early, you get the best selection, but as the day goes on, items get marked down.”
Kate Dillon, the director of events for OCRF recommends organization, and having a goal for your day. Her best tip is to "study the map of vendors. Go with a highlighter and circle the services that you want to get done."
Kelly Ripa wants to save your reputation, and dignity, with the suggestion of wearing a bathing suit underneath a flowy summer dress because "it's easy to slide off the dress and try something on to see if it actually fits."
If you're having trouble figuring out what to wear, seek out Rachel Zoe who says she “put[s] on [her] styling hat and help[s] everyone find great pieces.”
Last, but certainly not least, don't forget to hit up that SPF before heading out because as Director of Production, Mark Addison describes "We always say 'Sunscreen, sunscreen, sunscreen' when people arrive, and then we see them going home with terrible suntans."
