How To Spend The Most Festive Day In The Hamptons This Holiday Season

by Christie Grimm · December 15, 2020

Spending the holidays in The Hamptons? Desperate for a most merry, festive itinerary? Well look no further!

'Tis the season for enjoying a mid-morning walk on the beach, bundled up in cozy knits and a sherpa jacket. Personally, we'd recommend grabbing a coffee and a bagel to-go at Goldberg's and then making your way over to enjoy breakfast à la plage over at Georgica Beach. Extra points of course if you put down a blanket and set up a chic spread.

Next, once you've warmed up inside for short bit, it's time to head to town! Because all of our diets won't start until next year, why not pick up a seasonal galette or mixed berry pie at Carissa's Bakery? Crafted like couture works of art, they're almost too beautiful to eat. Almost! And since it is the holiday season, you obviously can't leave without a pint of their cinnamon gelato as well.

East Hampton's streets are tree lined and magically lit up this time of year, so there's nothing lovelier than an afternoon walk down Main Street. And if your stroll should just so happen to include a strategic stop over at Scoop Du Jour for one (or four) of their legendary donuts, so be it!

By this point, you should be fueled up and ready to indulge in perhaps the most festive activity of all - shopping! Lucky for you, there's no need to weave your way in and out of every store in town. Posted up at 73 Main Street sits the answer to all of your holiday shopping dreams, Unsubscribed.

Each weekend in December the East Hampton Historical Society will be putting on quite the Dickensian show with their Victorian Christmas experience at The Moran Studio. After you've Instagrammed yourself back in time, as well you should, your last stop before heading home to enjoy your haute couture pies (bet you forgot those were waiting for you in the car from earlier!) and fashionable haul from Unsubscribed should be 1770 House. The ultimate in East End comfort food!

Grab an order of their Tavern Meatloaf to-go and head home to enjoy a cozy night in!
