Are you eagerly awaiting Memorial Day weekend for the best restaurants and clubs to open up Hamptons side? For those of you who are already planning your escape this weekend, Solé East and Phao are awaiting your arrival.
The Backyard restaurant at Solé East reopens Thursday, May 12 for the 2011 season. The Backyard has both a laid back, outdoor atmosphere including a roaring fire pit, tiki torches and day beds. A great place to enjoy the spring weather!

Executive chef Larry Kolar has created a menu composed of fresh fish and local produce and herbs, with all dishes featuring "both Mediterranean flair and South American influences". They also offer a full cocktail menu.
Weekly events and live music are the usual at The Backyard, but this weekend they are serving as a venue for the Montauk Music Festival.
The Backyard will be open for dinner Thursday to Sunday from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. in May, June and October. From July through September, the restaurant will be open daily, serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 p.m.
If you are looking for a more fast-paced nightlife, Phao offers karaoke on Friday nights from 10:30p.m.-2 a.m., DJ Tone Tigga on Saturday nights from 10:30p.m.-2a.m., and on Sundays from 8p.m. to 11p.m. Project Vibe is playing.
