Last night, a handful of Hamptons mainstays broke out their most fashionable face coverings for a luxury, socially-distant, farm-to-table picnic in celebration of the Loaves and Fishes Farm Series Cookbooks launch.
Hosted by author Sybille van Kempen at The Sagaponack Farm Distillery, the evening began with a healthy dose of hand sanitizer - as all events henceforth shall - and quickly continued with rounds of the event's two specialty cocktails, created by The Bridgehampton Inn Restaurant's Head Bartender Kyle Fengler. Partygoers were then treated to picnic dinner boxes, containing a delightful selection of farm-to-table recipes from the book - Eggplant Olive Dip with Pita Toast, Zucchini Chicken Burgers, Tomato Beet Salad, Cherry Hand Pies and more.
The al fresco dinner was made all the more magical by the musical stylings of Tom Wardle, who serenaded the spaced out crowd spread out between picnic tables and blankets on the lawn.
