Regarding last week's house of the day. The $10 big ones I offered turned up quite the responses. I am happy to know that $10 is still worth something these days. Three people guessed the house was in Sag Harbor (wrong but it's twin must be there!), and two other commentors guessed it correctly: the house in question was really off of highway 114 in Shelter Island (come forward to claim your prize)! I spent the better part of my weekend getting to know Shelter Island. Here is another one of my favorites from the island.
