A Roaring Twenties castle fit for the (at the time) richest man in the world's daughter?
After years on and off the market, Millbrook's Migdale Castle, built in 1927 for Margaret Carnegie as a replica of her father Andrew's Scottish home, is hitting the auction block. Art dealer Guy Wildenstein bought the impressive manor back in 2000 for $5.29 million, pouring in close to $20 million since in renovations and updates and event doubling the size of the property to 200 acres.
Boasting 10 bedrooms, 17 bathrooms, 12 fireplaces, an elevator, a 5,000-bottle wine cellar, a gym, a steam room, a sauna, a tennis court, a home theater, a golf simulator, oh and a three-bedroom gatehouse and a 10,000-square-foot staff house, starting bids are expected to be between $4 million and $8 million.
So, you in the market?
