A Delicious Trip To Greece By Way Of Bridgehampton...

Can't make it to the Mediterranean this summer? Feast on the most delicious Greek dishes over at East End foodie favorite Elaia Estiatorio.

Tucked over on School Street in Bridgehampton, this in-demand spot is a labor of love from husband and wife team Chris Boudouris and Sofia Crokos. Fittingly named after the ancient word for olive tree, the restaurant's menu is the couple's celebration of their cultural roots, a love letter to Greece featuring a number of fresh classics with decidedly modern twists.

Of course, the Zucchini Chips and tzatziki are a must, as are the Grilled Halloumi with fig jam, roasted tomatoes and Cretan honey and the Souvlaki Chicken Skewers.

But seriously, don't sleep on the Lavraki Skaras, a grilled whole branzino, butterflied served with capers and a lemony vinaigrette.

It is a show stopper in all the ways.

Whether you're in search of the perfect intimate setting for a date night out on the town, or a lively scene for a group dinner with a bustling bunch of friends, or an al fresco perch to post up at for a wonderful, wine-fueled summer evening, Elaia Estiatorio is certainly the answer.
