Hamptons season will be here before you know it, but who says you need to wait until Memorial Day before indulging in some breezy, beachy fun out East?
Take in the springtime sunshine and spend the day lounging around in your own waterfront bungalow at Gurney's Montauk. The beloved hot spot has teamed up with event designer to the stars, Fête-founder Jung Lee, to create a luxurious new al fresco experience in full view of the Atlantic Ocean.
Fittingly dubbed their "Bungalows By The Sea," the outdoor dining area boasts individual setups decked out with heaters, furry blankets, and your own personal fire pit for socially-distant hangs for groups up to six.
Against the sound of waves in the background, each space is meant to inspire calm, relaxing vibes. And, of course, the dreamy ambiance wouldn't be complete without good food and strong cocktails. Lucky for us, Jung and Gurney's Executive Chef Robert Hamburg have collaborated on a curated menu for the occasion, featuring snacks from oysters and lobster rolls to charcuterie and burrata, as well as a selection of specialty cocktails and aperitifs.
As part of the partnership, Jung will also be making appearances on property to teach Fête floral arrangement classes to guests over the weekends of May 8th and 15th.
The seasonal setup will remain all summer long, through Labor Day. Guests can snag their spot with a $25 donation per person, which will support East Hampton Meals on Wheels, The Retreat, Project Most and Concerned Citizens of Montauk.
