Prepare yourself to see a parade of pale pink coffee cups strolling about East Hampton this summer...
After 27 years perched at the edge of town in a cedar shingled building on Newtown Lane, beloved brunch spot Babette's has closed. So what's set to appear in its well-positioned place?
Why, Sant Ambroeus of course.
Honestly, I'm embarrassed I didn't see this coming.
Because of all things, another expensive, see and be seen restaurant that's impossible to get a table at is precisely what East Hampton needs.
The Italian spot will be serving up their Milanese menu for breakfast, lunch, dinner - not to mention an assortment of their baked goods for takeaway.
Fingers crossed they have gelato!
