Amagansett Fish Farm
Amagansett Fish Farm has without a doubt the best food in the Hamptons. Pulling up to the dilapidated setup, a scene which looks straight out of a horror movie, I'd understand anyone's hesitation in sticking around, let alone ordering lunch. I can only tell you that I have personally never been killed there, not even once. I have however left every single time planning my next visit.
Come to visit their pen of loud honking geese, and stay for the food. Must-gets are the steamers, which they apparently have a special license no one else does that allows them to soak the clams in salt water, making for an unreal clean taste, and the French Box, a delightful platter of grilled tuna, shrimp, lobster salad, corn, cantaloupe, asparagus, sweet potato fries, and basically everything else you want in the summer.
