Were you even in The Hamptons this Labor Day weekend if you didn't catch whales breaching off the beach?

All of out East was abuzz this weekend as beachgoers along the island were treated to the most majestic whale sightings. Being that I'm not a Marine Biologist, I can tell you neither why there were so many whales so close to shore, nor what type they were (Sperm, Humpback? - honestly does it really make a big difference to you which - they're whales!).

I can however tell you that between these giants and the sharks, why anybody goes in the water out there is beyond me. Though still, from the safety of the shore, there's definitely nothing cooler!
