I recently learned that spiked seltzers are made with malt liquor, which gives them their sweetness and is why I feel bloated and hungover after drinking only a few. Great. After I swore off spiked seltzers, I found myself overwhelmed by what seems like the two million different brands of canned cocktails (ones that are made with actual tequila, vodka, etc.).
