Classic Montauk

You are only ever in need of two things - well, one if you favor a one piece over a bikini.

You've been heading out to Montauk since forever, grabbing potato salad and fried chicken from Herb's, climbing the rocks out on the jetty, stopping off for a night cap of ice cream at Ben & Jerry's.

You'll take the smell of sea bass stained fisherman and 2 dollar beers at Liar's Saloon over trendy new "hot spots" any day. Though a glass of wine at The Swallow after a successful day of angling is allowed.

Forever dressed in a swimsuit, always with sand in your hair - these days out East are all about chill vibes, with your body set on surf, sleep, repeat. And though you're still on board with the Dodge the Lodge movement and anti the subsequent hipster invasion, you're still secretly hoping you magically get a table one of these nights at Harvest. You know, only to make fun of all the Manhattanites who clearly took the train a few stops further than they should have.
