Greenport
Greenport is a $2.50 ferry ride from Shelter Island, and smack dab in the middle of wine country. This town has some great shopping, dining, and festivals to check out.
THINGS TO DO:
The Greenport Brewery: Every great town has its own brewery, so make sure to stop in and ask for a flight at the Greenport Harbor Brewery. If you do decide on a flight, then you get a free pint glass with it. We suggest trying Project Hoppiness, an IPA with loads of hoppy goodness. For more information visit HERE!
The Greenport Maritime Festival: Want to commandeer a ship or two, eat amazing street food and listen to live music? You can do all this and more at this year's Greenport Maritime Festival. For more information and dates visit HERE!
The East End Seaport Museum: There are plenty of historical buildings and museums to check out while in Greenport, for it was once a whaling port. Check out all the historical attractions HERE!

DINING:
Claudio's: Claudio's is iconic and known for their, well, everything. But they are most known for their award winning New England Clam Chowder. We also love their 1870 steak salad and wine selection. Plus, the view of the port is gorgeous. Yes, Claudio's is right on the water with scenic views of Shelter Island. For more information visit HERE!
The Frisky Oyster: If happy hour drinks and appetizers is more your thing, then the twenty-something crowd will most definitely be at The Frisky Oyster. Both trendy and tasty, we suggest making a reservation or getting there early. This place is always packed. For more information visit HERE!

SHOPPING:
The Times Vintage: Among many other antique shops in Greenport, The Times has one of the best selection of chic and vintage finds we have seen in a long time. Stop in and get yourself a new vintage piece to add to your wardrobe. For more information visit HERE!
