When you stepped out of your apartment this morning, did you feel as if there was something special in the air? Maybe you were about to spill your coffee on a stranger you would later marry, or find a $20 in your pocket? No, it's that the cast of the Jersey Shore is in NYC.
Yesterday Pauly D, Mike "The Situation" Sorrentino, Vinny Guadagnino and Ronnie Magro showed off their kitchen savvy on the Rachel Ray show, a power meal to fuel them for a late night at Greenhouse. Since the nightclub has been battling all sorts of violence under its roof, it seems just the place for those of multiple assaults and just general bad behavior.
Update: it is now being reported that Snooki ran into trouble at Greenhouse, the little physical altercation magnet that she is. After some accessory squabbling (obviously), apparently the melee broke out in all its bump and fake baked style, right in the middle of the club. Oh, Snooki.
The group touched down in the concrete playground after having rung in the New Year at MTV Studios, showing either 1) an affinity for our fair city or 2) who's willing to pay up for appearances by the B List royalty. Maybe a little of column A and column B? If yes, perhaps we will score a permanent resident out of the crew. Can't you see it, now? Maybe Snooki tanning salons, or JWoww showing at Fashion Week? Forget the Old and New New York, it'd be the Old, New and Noo Yawk. Doesn't that have a nice ring to it?
Just when you thought your excitement had reached its pinnacle, do not forget that Pauly D will be spinning at Sutton Place this weekend. If you play your cards right, maybe he'll show you his penis piercing. Ugh, we should all be so lucky.
