Model Of The Year 2013
-On December 2 (just a day after her birthday!), the newly-turned 23-year-old was named Model of the Year at the British Fashion Awards.
-The honor may have been unexpected for many, who thought wild child Cara Delevingne dominated the scene this year, but the understated industry darling indeed stole the title, held by her bold-browed contemporary in 2012.
-But though she takes her career seriously enough to garner recognition, don't expect Edie to get totally consumed:
"For my sanity, I want to retain a sense of reality. It's so easy to get sucked up in it all. You get to the point when you realize that you haven't had a weekend off in six months. That sort of thing scares me and I want to keep it that way. If you always feel like an imposter you work harder and that makes you better at your job."
