The Cartier Diamond Tiara
Cartier certainly knew a thing or two about making a statement.
Created in 1904, this unique tiara was way ahead of its time. Designed by the Cartier family's most creative scion, Louis, it is composed of platinum, rather than the Belle Epoque's favored gold and silver.
It's a wonder that the Art Deco movement was still 20 years away, what with this piece's clean lines and minimal, stylized setting. Very Gatsby.
