UnforgettingLA #2: Architecture & Design
MAK Center for Art and Architecture is partnering with East of Borneo to support the movement of UnforgettingLA. This movement is based on "unforgetting" L.A. artists and unrepresented aspects of the city's cultural history. The meetup, focusing on women in architecture and design, will be held at the beautiful, historic Schindler House at the MAK Center. The event was inspired by last year's campaign to acknowledge architect Denise Scott Brown's work awarded the 1991 Pritzker Prize, one of the highest architecture awards to receive, but her partner Robert Venturi was given the award instead. Join the conversation,
see what you can do to unforget L.A., and enjoy a walk-through of the exhibition at the MAK Center this Saturday.
