Penny Slinger

Blum and Poe
This is Penny Slingerʼs first solo exhibition in Los Angeles. Penny brings together collages from different eras and never-before-seen film footage to construct her artwork. Slinger focuses the setting of her pieces by stemming from the 60’s and 70’s in order to obtain and collaborate the mindset of the feminine psyche and subconscious. She also reaches to represent a more liberal view through her art as well. If the 60’s and 70’s is a decade that connects with you, this artist will make quite the impression.
