Jason Kraus: Concrete Form
A little more than the minimalist work of
Scot Heywood, Jason Kraus uses paint on plywood with a variety of colors in his exhibit,
Concrete Form. The edges of the plywood are left in their natural wooden state, while one side is painted a solid color. Blocks of plywood are also placed in the exhibit with items placed on top, such as a chair and cups (however, the cups are actually "
not art"). Compare this minimalist work of Jason Kraus's exhibit at
Redling Fine Art to
Scot Heywood's exhibit still running at the
Frank Lloyd Gallery.
