Phranc, A Little Snow, & John Huggins
Head to the Craig Krull Gallery for three exhibits exploring a winter wonderland. Phranc is a "Cardboard Cobbler" who takes cardboard, paper, gouache, and thread to form replications of normal objects. Her exhibit will showcase cardboard recreations of everyday winter items, from the snow shoes shown above, to a red sled. John Huggins will display his Polaroid transfer works from images in the lifts of Aspen, which you can see in the above photo. Polaroid transfer is a process where wet Polaroids are transferred to another piece of paper. To continue with the winter themes, several works from
Marc Bohne,
Ann Lofquist,
Robin Mitchell (pictured left),
Andrea Peters,
Astrid Preston,
Pamela Kendall Schiffer, and
Nicole Strasburg will have snowscape paintings on display in
A Little Snow. Check out the on opening night this Saturday at the artist reception.
