I know it's a bummer to think about, but not everybody made it to Coachella this year. For every perfectly outfitted flower/raver/rocker/surfer child making their way to the desert right now, there's a buttoned-down sad sack taking the corporate elbow to the forehead on a rainy Friday afternoon. But thanks to YouTube's streaming Coachella channel, we can all still watch The Black Keys together.
Yes, YouTube, in association with Goldenvoice and State Farm, are going to be broadcasting a three- day live streaming channel with reports, simultaneous live shows (across three different feeds), and plenty of festival flavor. According to the mainpage, it's going live in about an hour, and the schedule shows that the first band up will be '90s Brit-rockers James at 3:55 PDT.
