Front Row at Just Cavalli, Milan Fashion Week A/W 2011 [via] In one of my favorite interviews ever, Goldstein opens up to Derek Blasberg and tells him about his move from the midwest to California. When he was still in college and had just moved to L.A., he had an affair with Jayne Mansfield whom he met at The Whisky which he tells Blasberg had just opened. With this, I came up with an estimate of his age: The Whisky opened in 1964 and let's say he was 20 at the time (since he was in college).  According to my math that would make him roughly 67. Oh, and by the way, Jayne Mansfield was married at the time which led Goldstein to being the victim of some roughing up. And this was only his introduction to Los Angeles.
